Owner turn in

My name is Cye and I am a full blooded Cocker Spaniel. I was a breeder/owner turn in due to a medical condition of my eye.

I was 6 months old when I arrived at Pawsibilities Unleashed Adoption Placements. They did a temperament test on me and decided I was a perfect candidate for their programs. Unfortunately I had an eye condition that needed care first.

I was taken to Pawsibilites Unleashed vet, and examined and biopsy taken. My biopsy report said I was cancer free. Apparently the eye had sustained an injury, ruptured as a result of the injury, and ended up with a smaller eye retinal detachment and various other abnormalities. None of these were noted as malignant or infectious.

Pawsibilities tried to get donations for my eye surgery, but only a few people responded. The owner of this facility decided to go ahead and have the surgery done at her expense. The appointment was made and I arrived on schedule.

My surgery went really well and my recovery even better. It was soon time to post me for a future forever home. I made Instagram and FaceBook with lots of photos and video's of me. A lady who had adopted her Doxie from Pawsibilities earlier this year, saw my post, and told a family about me.

That family had lost their dog of 15 years just recently. They came to meet me and were a lovely senior couple with a quiet household. They had grandkids and a huge yard. My vet appointment was made, I was cleared for adoption, and I went home in time for Christmas.
